Our Colleagues Abdullah Shhaltouq and Hossam Al-Sarawi are among 25 participants selected for a training workshop titled “Building the Digital Story,” organized by the Center for the Protection and Freedom of Journalists in partnership with the Al Jazeera Media Institute. The workshop will take place on Friday and Saturday, September 27-28, 2024. Their selection was based on strict criteria set by the organizing body. The workshop will be led by Elia Ghraybeh, a Senior Producer at AJ Arabic Newsroom, who will share her academic and practical expertise with participants experienced in content creation and digital presence on social media platforms.
Additionally, Shhaltouq and Al-Sarawi will participate in the “Future of Media and Communication” Forum, organized by the Center for the second consecutive year on Sunday and Monday, September 29-30. This forum is considered the largest gathering of media professionals, content creators, social media platforms, unions, international, media, and human rights organizations. It will feature a distinguished lineup of speakers discussing various media issues on local, Arab, and global scales.
