Colleague Khaled Al-Khaddour participated in a training workshop entitled: Digital Security and Safety, which was organized by the “Wa’i” Center for Human Rights Training on January 21-22, 2026, with the participation of a group of journalists, media professionals, and content creators.

During the training, which was delivered by lawyer Taghreed Al-Dughmi, engineer Abdul Kareem Al-Zyoud, and journalist Rania Al-Saraira, the importance of digital security across digital platforms—both personal and professional—was discussed, along with various methods aimed at protecting accounts and enhancing their security.

The training aimed to shed light on the concept of digital safety in journalistic work, describing it as an inseparable part of professional, ethical, and legal responsibility, especially amid the increasing use of social media platforms.

The training included both theoretical and practical aspects, reviewing relevant legal regulations and highlighting the importance of media institutions, journalists, and sector workers sharing notes arising from daily practices in journalistic work.Participants also gained essential and advanced skills in password management, activating two-factor authentication for accounts, as well as documenting digital evidence and handling violations professionally and legally.

The participation of “Digital Solutions” in these specialized trainings stems from the importance of keeping up with developments and continually staying updated on digital media advancements.
