“Digital Solutions” participated in the activities of the National Conference on Women’s Economic Participation in Jordan, which was organized by the Al Hayat Center – Rasheed in partnership with ActionAid – Arab Region on January 18, 2026.
The conference was held under the patronage of His Excellency the Minister of Labor, Dr. Khaled Al-Bakkar, and attended by representatives of private companies, government entities, experts on labor and women’s issues, and members of the Jordanian House of Representatives.
Al-Bakkar explained that the Ministry of Labor has worked in recent years to develop legal and regulatory frameworks to enhance the protection of women in the workplace and expand opportunities for their economic participation.He expressed his gratitude to both the public and private sectors for their interest in developing the work environment for women in Jordan.
For her part, Sana Al-Hiyari, Programs Director at ActionAid – Arab Region, affirmed that the “Woman-Friendly Label” project constitutes a practical model to promote safe and fair work environments, through joint cooperation with national partners to develop policies and practices that reduce violence and harassment in workplaces.
The participation of “Digital Solutions” in this national conference stems from the company’s management’s keenness to be actively present in activities organized by the Al Hayat Center – Rasheed related to the “Woman-Friendly Label” project.During the past year, “Digital Solutions” actively participated in many trainings and workshops related to the project, believing in the importance of keeping up with special legislation to ensure a safe work environment for women.
