Colleagues Sareen Al-Hroub, Israa Al-Sheikhli, and Yousef Abu Dabbour took part in the comprehensive journalism training program organized by the Petra Training Center at the Jordan News Agency (Petra), held from April 20 to 24, 2025. The program included graduates of journalism and media faculties as well as individuals from other disciplines interested in pursuing a career in journalism, as part of the agency’s corporate social responsibility initiatives.
The training focused on equipping participants with the latest skills and techniques in news writing and provided them with essential practical tools to support their entry into the job market—particularly in areas requiring solid experience in various journalistic forms.
The five-day course featured both theoretical and practical applications in writing news articles and reports, photography, and professional use of social media platforms in the context of journalism.
