A team from Digital Solutions participated in a comprehensive journalistic course organized by the Jordan News Agency (Petra) during the period from November 23 to 27, 2025, as part of the agency’s ongoing efforts to enhance the skills of journalists and develop their capacities in the field of journalism and media production.
Participants were provided during the training with core and advanced skills in writing and journalistic editing, along with practical applications to ensure true benefit.
The journalistic course also equipped participants with the latest skills and methods in news writing and familiarized them with the skills necessary for practical practice, according to the best considerations, enabling them to compete in the job market that requires sufficient experience in journalistic arts.
The five-day course included theoretical and practical applications on news writing, reporting, investigation, participation in press conferences, and understanding how to use social media for journalistic purposes.
Digital Solutions expressed its happiness at participating in this valuable course through colleagues Othman Abu Khudra, Khaled Al-Khudour, Aseel Attar, Abdul Rahman Hamdan, and Nasser Al-Zainab.The company continuously endeavors to develop the skills of its team in content and digital journalism, which enhances the quality of media production and qualifies it for cooperation with media institutions both in Jordan and abroad.
Colleague Aseel Attar, a copy editor and content creator at Digital Solutions, expressed his happiness to participate in the comprehensive journalistic course, saying, “The comprehensive journalistic course was rich in everything it offered, starting from the information provided, practical applications, and even getting to know the working method in a prestigious institution like Petra News Agency, through trainers with extensive experience who work in different departments of the agency.”
For her part, the head of the Program Planning Department at the Petra Training Center / Jordan News Agency, Amal Al-Tamimi, indicated that “the agency seeks, through its training center, to organize specialized training programs in various journalistic fields, in line with the needs of partners and service beneficiaries, in addition to providing free courses as part of its social responsibility.”
The Petra Training Center provides more than 500 training opportunities annually for agency journalists, as well as for workers in media and public relations units in both the public and private sectors, in addition to students and graduates of journalism and media from inside and outside the kingdom.
